Andrew S. Martin focuses his legal practice on helping individuals and families whose lives have been forever changed by devastating accidents that could have been prevented. He is a skilled trial attorney who has secured more than $30 million in verdicts and settlements for his deserving clients.

However, beyond those monetary results, Andrew values the real impact his work has on people’s lives. “You’re meeting people at some of their most vulnerable states. They’re relying on you to guide them through a sticky situation, to put their lives back together, to get them money to make up for whatever deficits this injury might have presented,” he said. “I feel honored to be walking alongside them, being a friend and being a guide, as they go through a daunting, complex and challenging problem.”

Andrew takes a personal approach to every case he handles. He knows that every client has a unique story, unique worries, and unique needs for recovery. He takes the time to listen and give his clients peace of mind. From the beginning, he lays out what they can expect, and he regularly updates clients as their cases progress.

“Compassion and communication are key,” he said.

A native of Beverly, Ohio, Andrew began his career with a focus on becoming a journalist. He majored in journalism at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., and graduated in 2004. During his time at Liberty University, he served as a sports editor for The Liberty Champion newspaper. He also met his future wife, Melissa.

After graduating, Andrew and Melissa moved to St. Louis, and Andrew worked in copywriting and marketing before feeling his call to the law. He attended St. Louis University School of Law, gaining valuable insights from his mentor through the Christian Legal Society. In 2009, he graduated with his law degree.

Andrew is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri, and Virginia. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, an organization that is committed to a fair and effective justice system. In 2013, Andrew received recognition from The National Law Journal for earning one of the Top 100 Verdicts that year. His professional achievements and peer reviews also earned him “Rising Star” recognition by the ratings service Super Lawyers in 2014.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hiking, and traveling. He is actively involved in his church and greatly admires the work of The Sparrow’s Nest, a nonprofit organization that provides housing to teenagers who are pregnant or parenting.
